The raising of the build plate is done from the Sift1 control panel. To take out the printed parts, use the "Up arrow" button. Don't let it go up the whole way, press the "Down arrow" button, when you have just enough material to get started.

There are a number of tools to help you brush off your parts. There is a large, course brush; there are fine tooth brushes, bottle cleaners and picks. This is a manual process that depends on the part being cleaned. Ask for help to get you started.

The Sift is an open unit. As the powder isn't hazardous, this gives you a good bit of mobility using the various tools etc. Do please be careful to keep the parts in the extracted area and don't let the brushes or other parts flick powder out of the Sift.

Recovering remaining powder with the Sift1 unit.

Use the Sift button periodically to run the vibromotor connected to the seive beneath. Dust that goes through the seive plate or the rear extractor is saved for reuse, dust collected by the vacuum is not.

When finished, clean the workplace down with the connected vaccum. Throw away any used PPE or disposable cleaning products. Return the workplace to how you found it.
